About this Position
Manage all hygiene-related aspects at the site.
Implement the site hygiene plan in accordance with Henkel standards.
Schedule sampling times and apply prescribed testing methods.
Perform microbiological control of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, water, and the environment.
Lead hygiene meetings and train personnel on hygiene requirements.
Trigger immediate quality alerts in case of deviations.
What you´ll do
- Execute hygiene management procedures within the plant, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Assess risks related to preventive hygiene.
- Maintain documentation to ensure microbiological quality of raw materials, bulk, and finished products.
- Define corrective actions for identified critical control points and ensure process traceability.
- Establish and maintain the plant-specific hygiene plan, incorporating all hygiene aspects.
- ensure strict compliance with safety and hygiene rules within the department.
- Guarantee that all personnel and contractors wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with collective safety measures.
- Enforce the company’s internal regulations, especially those related to SHE, and apply any related instructions or memos.
- Attend DOR meetings to discuss quality issues and improvement proposals.
What makes you a good fit
- Education: Master’s degree in quality Control, Microbiology, or Biology.
- Professional Experience: Previous experience in quality control, hygiene, and microbiology within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (Quality, Production, Engineering, SHEQ) to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
- Provides guidance and coaching to operators and technicians regarding hygiene and microbiological requirements.
- Promotes a strong hygiene culture through training, awareness, and effective communication.
